Just how 'fresh' is the fresh air outside your house ?
Marylebone Road and Hyde Park Corner, both in central London, have the most polluted postcodes in Britain, says a new study on air quality.
So if you need to walk or cycle down there each morning, perhaps you need to buy yourself a mask.
Enter your postcode to see how your area is rated

From 1-6, where i live is No1, which is good.

A rating of 1 means there is an extremely low chance of nitrogen dioxide levels exceeding the annual legal limit. The air in your area is generally clean.

Where I live in South London scored a 2, however I have just entered the post code for an address we invoice, which is just off Marylebone Rd and comes within the 50% excess parking charge by Westminster and it comes with a score of 3, but another one on Marylebone Rd itself isn't even covered by the data. Go figure that data!

I live in a town in an industrial area and not far from a main road and yet the rating for us is 1. I think the criteria must be flawed because surely a rural location would have a better rating and not the same.

I live on a busy road in a city which is rated 2. I wouldn't consider the air here clean and healthy.

Kings Heath high street is rated as 2 despite being very congested.
Interesting to note the 30% reduction outside the school.
