There were problems with the original thread in that it disappeared and could not be reinstated.

So a new thread was created and we all started again, unfortunately that thread also seems to have joined it's predecessor.

So here's a new one. We need to hear about Suki's lamb casserole and Island Maid is back from Amsterdam and must have delights to tell us about.

Maybe if the old one can be found then this can be merged?

    Anyway without further ado...

The steak last night was lovely, nice to have a treat every now and then and it was a good deal. I have wraps for lunch today and i will be having the same again tomorrow. Tonight with the mince i think i am going to make shepherds pie as the temperature is dropping again and its a nice cosy home meal. I feel quietly smug and organised this week!

I had a lovely asparagus quiche for lunch yesterday when out shopping, still warm from the cafe's oven. It's made me decide to make one at home next week.

Lunch today was home made spring vegetable soup, and tonight's supper will be stir fried prawns and red chilli with courgetti and a splash of cream.

Tuesday was cod & chorizo fishcakes, wedges and mushy peas for me, baked beans for OH.
Yesterday I roasted a leg of lamb served with roast & new potatoes, carrots, Savoy cabbage, broccoli and leeks in onion sauce.
Today is the same as yesterday.

    Oooh.
Meant to say in my post above that I saved some mushy peas from Tuesday and had a 5 cod fish finger sandwich with mushy peas on 2 slices of toastie bread for my lunch.
    It was lush.

Hope your cold is getting better, Islandmaid!

Tonight I am making chicken katsu curry with a little brown rice and a large oriental salad, with some cheesecake and strawberries/blueberries for pud.

And wine. There will be Friday night wine, oh yes.
