    Help Needed PPI claim 8th Jan 18 at 3:12 PM

    Iíve submitted a PPI claim against Lloydís bank for a mortgage taken out in 1982. I have all the paperwork for the mortgage, but the account number was left off the paperwork. Lloydís are saying they donít have any record of the mortgage. Does anyone know if;
    PPI was around in 1982 and therefore itís worth pursuing?

    Almost four decades on, I can't see you progressing this.

    PPI was not widely available in 1982, are you even sure you had it?

    More likely to have been Life & Critical Illness cover.
