Buying car with 0% credit card 5th Jan 18 at 9:12 PM
Hi. Sorry I'm a complete credit card novice. Been looking at the Sainsbury's 0% for 31 months card. I want to pay the balance of the car which would be 7k. Is there a way of transferring the money into my current account as otherwise we'll be charged 2% to pay the dealership just using the card? Thanks

Look for a 0% money transfer credit card instead then.

Although they also charge a transfer fee, so wipes out the garage's 2% charge.

Leave it until after 13th January. No credit card fee from retailers then.

Aren't charges by companies for using a credit card ending soon? Obviously dealers will just raise their prices to cover it overall but assume it will benefit someone wanting to pay by credit card for a 0% deal

Said to the dealer " I will pay the asking price " !
if he would take a CC card ...with No extra fees.

We both agreed a deal !

Try again or tell him you will walk away.
It was on a 0% LONG purchase deal
