I sent them the IPC member template from that very same newbies thread 30 days ago. Now I don't know how/if I should reply to what they have sent me. can anyone help? I can post the wording of their reply if needed. thankssssss xxxx

if they failed to cancel, then just IGNORE them as the NEWBIES sticky thread tells you to

nothing they can say (apart from a notice of cancellation) has any meaning and there is nothing more to be done if they failed to cancel

the next stage is IMPASSE, where neither side budges

they have 6 years to issue an LBC or an MCOL , WHICH YOU MUST DEAL WITH IF RECEIVED
    Newbies !!
Private Parking ticket? check the 2 sticky threads by coupon-mad and crabman in the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board forum for the latest advice or maybe try pepipoo or C.A.G. or legal beagles forums if you need legal advice as well because this parking forum is not about debt collectors or legal matters per se

Ok, ill ignore as you have instructed thank you very much! here's the wording of their reply to the template. I found it interesting that it sounds like an actual human replying rather than an email reply bot. thanks again xx

    Dear xxxxxxxxxxxx,
    Thank you for your email and sorry for the late reply. After reading the contents of your letter it is clear that you are not appealing this Charge Notice. In regards to your request for information please see below;

1.As you are not a resident of the Relevant Land, you do not have the right to know the Landowner at this point in time.
2.The driver was in breach of the contract for parking because the vehicle was not displaying a valid permit prominently.
3.All photographs taken of the vehicle are available at (Ace security website I'm not allowed to post because I'm a new user) You will need to enter the Charge Notice number and Vehicle Registration.

Please note that as you are refusing to identify the driver of the vehicle under Schedule 4 Section 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 as the Registered Keeper you will remain liable.

In response to your reference to Section 10 of the Data Protection Act, you have stated you wish us to stop processing your data. However, in order for this request to be properly considered you must state why it is causing you substantial damage or distress, as well as what you require in order for us to stop this from happening. At present it is necessary for us to process your data because it is used in relation to a contract, meaning you have no right to object.

    Yours Sincerely,
    Appeals Department

If this was at your own (or friend/relative's) residential block of flats, read PACE v Noor:

    https://bmpa.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000518125-Pace-Recovery-v-Noor

...and dig out your tenancy or leasehold terms, or that of the friend/relative, in readiness for defending the expected daft and doomed Claim from Gladstones later this year.

As an aside, please contact WHICH? magazine using the easy link from this thread to tell them briefly of your plight. The more people who contact WHICH, the more likely they are to take up this unregulated scam industry as their next cause:

PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
