January's bring your lunch to work 1st Jan 18 at 11:08 AM
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I thought I'd kick start January's thread as I can't see one. If there's a duplicate, please feel free to delete or merge it.

So Christmas has been and gone and were at the start of a brand new shiny year.

If like me, you realise you've overspent in December or just generally want to save some money during the working week, then this is the challenge for you

Feel free to post what you're taking for lunch, as it may give others ideas from the usual sandwiches.

So roll up, roll up, who's in?

Played freezer roulette last night for todays lunch & it is either Chilli or Bolagnase. I shall report back later.

    Morning,

No lunch from home today, it's Friday and I always buy my lunch on Friday as it's my little treat for the week.

Almost failed today by not prepping sarnies last night! Luckily had time this morning to grab a banana and cheese sandwiches. Needed a choc fix but colleague kindly donated some for free.

    4/18 so far.

Can I join in please? Got 20 lunches to cover.

4/20 so far - on todays menu is homemade Brussel sprout, parsnip and chilli soup. Sounds and smells disgusting, but actually really tasty!

We too have lots of cheese left and the box of crackers hasn't been opened yet either, so I may bring cheese and crackers for lunch too one day.

Lunch taken to school twice in the 2 days we!!!8217;ve been back so far. More loaded potato soup that was left over. It!!!8217;s going well so far. And having left overs makes sure I go to the staff room so I!!!8217;m not walking through school with hot food!
