    Hi all!

Welcome back to blighty leanfun! Lovely to 'see' you again.

Sounds as if you & DH had a wonderful time. Very well
done on all your wins too!

Sorry to hear about your tooth but pleased it's all sorted
    now.

I agree re. the heat - think today's the worst day ever.
I'm slowly melting here. From London down to the Southern
parts, the weather has been/is still unbearable hot, stifling &
    muggy.

Sadly it's not just our country - seems to be global!
Many parts of Europe have/are experiencing extreme
temperatures (high 40's). Far hotter than the usual temps
    at this time of year!

My garden is just about surviving with a little help from
    me.

Meanwhile, I'm still praying for rain!

It's Monday afternoon and I've just done a little dance for the comping fairy... got everything crossed to end my eight-month dry spell.

I think this is my week!

Sending all positive vibes and lots of luck

Morning, another hat and muggy day here again. I enjoyed the film it was sad in some of it,but laughs in other bits of it. I love the music, makes a change to hear music i know, lol. I don't understand a lot of the music nowadays. I'm looking forward to seeing the Queen film when it comes out as well. They showed a trailer and it looks a good film. I have a course today, all day but it's only a 10 minute walk away so don't have to travel far. It's handling and lifting and first aid so we get a lot done and i can't work without it so have to do it. Just waiting for nephew to come, son's GF is looking after him today. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Morning folks. Dull and cloudy here again today. Leanfun doing well thankyou I just get on with what I have to do. No point in moaning. Hello Katie long time since you have been in the Inn. Glad you are doing well. I am going to run around with hoover and duster today. Will take a while but will get it done eventually. Be lucky peeps.

    Good morning everyone

Hope you're all ok. I got fairly excited yesterday evening
because it looked as if we were going to get a bit of rain!
In the end there was absolutely zilch - boo!

However, just been out in the garden to shoo away a local
puddy cat who was lurking around my birdie feeders (hoping
to catch his breakfast) & the temperature feels a lot
    more comfortable/fresher than yesterday.

Talking about puddy cats - happy International Cat Day!

Hope your course went well indie. I agree about the music
too, it's lovely to hear stuff that we all know & enjoy!

Well, I'm hoping today to give my garden furniture a
second coat of Ronseal, weather permitting. It seems ages
since I started them, it's just been too hot out lately to do
much of anything. What's the betting that it'll rain once I've
    started!

Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care
    whatever your plans.

Dull start as usual here. Did get some sunshine yesterday afternoon.
Finally got ensuite toilet sorted yesterday - needed a special balcock as cistern was all set up at one side instead of using whole area.
Downstairs one playing up a bit now! Plumber coming back to service boiler at end of week so going to look at it then. Always something.
Visited my aunt yesterday, she is 86 and so with it. Such a difference between my mum and her. (Mum is only 77) Should visit my aunt more often as we were always close.
Not meaning to do much today.
    Good luck all.

Morning folks. Dull and cloudy again here. Yesterday afternoon and evening turned out nice after cloudy start. So hopefully will see some sunshine later. Took me about three hours to do hoovering and dusting yeterday but got there. Today it is bathroom and kitchen but can do most of that sitting down. Have some mince defrosting in fridge so it is good old fashioned mince and potatoes today. Looking forward to it. Hope you are all well.

Afternoon. Neighbour has just picked up his new car and it is fab. It is a metalic blue Mercedes and I love it. Always wanted a white convertable merc when I was younger.

Morning folks. Another cloudy one here and feels a bit cooler this morning. Have been up half the night with cramp in my leg so have decamped to kitchen so that I can get my foot on to a cold floor. Don't know if that is supposed to help but seems to be doing the trick. Do not usually suffer from cramp but I am guessing it is something to do with hip and leg and surrounding muscles etc. Anyway hope I find you all well. Time for a cuppa. cya later.

    Good morning everyone

Hope you're all ok on this gloriously damp start to
    Thursday!

Yay! We've had some rain through the night. Happy happy
    days!

I managed to have a very productive day yesterday out in
    the garden.

Had a really good tidy up doing this n' that. Didn't manage
to paint the wooden garden chairs but did give them all a
good wash/scrub in the afternoon ready for painting in the
    next couple of days.

Lots of spiders scuttled away including one with
a huge fat body. I expect they'll all be back today!

I've only ever had cramp twice rose & my goodness it was
the most horrendous pain - so I really feel for you. Pleased
to hear that you're ok now.

Your aunt sounds a lovely lady sheils. As you say, there's
always something that needs fixing! Hope your plumber
can sort out the downstairs loo now. It's lucky you've got
two! Same as me - always thankful for an extra loo,
especially when family come to stay.

Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care
    whatever your plans.

Woke up to very light rain this morning. Still raining but you can beardy see it. It!!!8217;s so much fresher.

Sheils pleased you saw your aunt. Know what you mean about seeing people you would like to keep up with. Hope plumber resolves problem.

Rose sorry to hear about your cramps as Alfie says they can be so painful.

We have had seven year old GS here over night so DD1 could go straight to work this morning. He has been going to a childcare centre since school broke up and had to wake up early four days a week. The centre took them out every day so he is tired. Have to see whay we do today.

Alfie pleased for you that you have had rain.

Take care everyone and good luck.

Sun is out yaaaaaaay and clouds that are in the sky are mainly white puffy ones. Cramp is still driving me nuts keeps coming and going. Neighbour is going to pop in to chemist for me when she goes over to shop to see what advice they have. Be lucky everyone.

    Good Afternoon,

Nice sunny day here but bit of a breeze. Washing all drying nicely and thinking about doing some gardening after lunch.
Glad people are enjoying their rain!

DD and BF came for dinner last night. DS3 made a honey chicken and king prawn stirfry for us and we opened some wine too.

Had a walk down to Tesco earlier so must try and enter some comps now.
