Morning peeps. Seems to be a bit milder here this morning so hopefully it stays that way. Snow forecast for next week so going to try and get everything done that I need to do over weekend and hibernate when it arrives. GD has now got a new guinea pig as no one has claimed it. Off to put porridge on as I am rather hungry this morning. Hope everyone is well. Take care and be lucky.

Afternoon peeps. Had GK's for a couple of hours so that DS could go to gym. Took them to cafe for lunch where they devoured cheese toasties and a knickerbocker glory. When Ds arrived back he was a bit miffed as he had missed out on the desert lol. FF glad you are having some time to yourself just relax and take it easy tomorrow is another day. Weather has turned a bit colder and wetter here this afternoon so I am going to tackle ironing instead of heading out.

Morning peeps. Cold and damp here this morning but no frost. Was raining most of yesterday evening expecting more today. Ironing all done (job I hate). Going to make myself some comfort food today (fish Pie) so will have to nip out to either lidl's or asda for a couple of things. Neighbour was baking yesterday and brought me down a couple of soda scones and potato scones so will have a soda scone and roasted cheese for lunch followed by a potato scone with butter yum yum. Well enough of my stomach. Hope everyone is healthy and well this morning.

    Good morning everyone

Well, it looks as if it may be glorious weather today down my
way with sunny spells throughout the day. Tomorrow will
apparently be turning pear shaped with the arrival of wet
    stuff!

I hope you're all well. I'm fine and dandy here rose and
    raring to go.

I can remember when my Mum used to make potato/soda
scones - also treacle scones which were really scrumptious
with butter and a dollop of jam.

Did anyone see the painted pebble item on the Beeb earlier
    this morning?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-41561231/how-a-stone-hunting-trend-took-off-in-the-uk

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-41186504/york-mum-starts-coloured-pebble-hunt-craze

I hadn't realised that pebble painting had become so
popular in the UK. Must admit they all look amazing!

I think hunting for hidden painted pebbles is a brilliant
    idea!

The little children on the Beeb news item this morning had
such a fun time finding the pebbles and the added bonus is
that they were out having a lovely time in the fresh air.

Have a peaceful Sunday all and please take care whatever
    your plans.

raining here today & still quite dark,
no sign of it brightening up! hopefully will be better tomorrow,
glad it's nice for you where you are Alfie & hope it stays nice x
you're both making me hungry talking of delicious tasting scones lol
going to have a rummage in cupboards now to check if I've ingredients to make some
I didn't see the item on painted pebbles earlier Alfie so
big thanks for linky/info it all sounds &
    looks fun & interesting
have a lovely day all & take care x

Morning peeps. Another cold and damp one here. Had heavy rain last night and was windy. Wishing it was summer at least it would not be so cold (even if it was wet). Hope everyone is well and keeping warm. Good luck with comps today.

We are back home with DS3 and organising our 2nd Xmas for tomorrow.
Hope yours went well mummy2. We enjoyed our little break at Stirling and although the weather was pretty grey it was dry and not too cold.
It was wet coming home though and although dry just now we are supposed to get showers throughout the day and some snow tomorrow!
DS3 is sick of snow and loads forecast for Auchterarder so he will be pleased to be here. He says it is funny to see the Gleneagles foreign staff so excited when they first see snow and then get so sick of it and the cold.

Glad you got into your garden Alfie - ours is just sodden.

FF, hope things speed up for you. It must be horrid just waiting to finalise things.

Hi VW I can remember you too.

Looking forward to summer here too rose. Got some nice breaks booked!

Must get on. Good Luck all.
