    Mummy2threeboys your weekend sounded good.

This week I am meeting up with a friend whose husband died nearly two years after a very short illness. He was 72 and she!!!8217;s now 68. She has coped really well but has a problem with being too beautiful. Not something I know about. It is a whole different world. She is blond and used to teach law to doctors so very bright. I!!!8217;ll pop in when I can.

    Good Morning,

Misty start here and been raining, so annoyed we are due to miss the good weather in this area! Booked Sunday night away, near Whitley Bay before our caravan holiday neat St Abbs on Monday. It is showing brilliant sunshine there and rain here and as there was offer on......

Hope you enjoyed the garden centre FF. Did you buy anything?

Great you are getting on with the garden Alfie. We are trying to do some and have managed to do some without getting a sore back.

You sound like you had a good day mummy2.

Hope your mum is ok wingo. Parents do start to be a worry especially when we have children to worry about too. DH goes on about us being the sandwich generation. At least we don't have his parents to worry about too. Hope you enjoyed your holiday.

Hope you enjoy meeting your friend leanfun.

    Wishing everyone a lucky week.

    Good morning everyone

Hope you're all well on this glorious start to the week.

I had a wonderful time yesterday! Lovely drive over
Lymington way, lots of horses, donkeys, cattle etc doing
    their own thing and this:

    https://www.ukcyclingevents.co.uk/events/wiggle-new-forest-spring-sportive/

I'd totally forgotten that they have this event every year!
However it was lovely to see all the cyclists - they had a
fairly tricky route though, quite a few steep hills to
contend with. Perfect weather though. So, my trip out
took longer than expected, but was still enjoyable & I
even managed to stop off at my favourite garden centre
for a cuppa & slice of cake too!

Sounds as if you had a lovely time yesterday fire**fly
at the garden centre. Lol, I wouldn't have hesitated
either! You know what I'm like! Pleased you had a greatl
    time.

Happy belated birthday wishes sylv - hope you had a
    wonderful day. xxx

Very well done on brilliant comp wins indie & I Love comps

Great you managed to book your spa morning sheils. xx

Sorry to hear that you had no success in buying a jacket
yesterday leanfun. I always find lingerie departments
overwhelming! Pleased you found what you were
after in the end. I honestly hate trawling around the shops
    then coming home with nowt!

I've never heard of fly lady mummy2, had to google it!
Must admit though it sounds brilliant - and well
done to you re kitchen! Hope you had a lovely relaxing
    evening after all of that!

Hi wingo, lovely to 'see' you. Hope you had an
enjoyable couple of weeks off work - bet the time flew by
    though!

Well must fly myself, have a lovely and lucky day all

    Good morning everyone

Hope you're all in fine fettle on this glorious Tuesday
    morning!

Me thinks we're in for some very warm weather this
    week!

Had a busy morning yesterday, did two trips to my local
recycling centre - so that's me up to date with clearing
    out stuff no longer used/required!

Years ago the recycling centre was such a dump! However
it's now a joy to take rubbish/recycling goods there. It's
so pristine and well organized these days!

Did anyone watch the Queen’s Green Planet yesterday
evening? I thought it was absolutely brilliant.

Have a wonderful time with your friend leanfun, she sounds
    such an amazing lady.

Booking Sunday night at Whitley Bay sounds perfect sheils
before your stay at St Abbs. It sounds lovely.

So sorry to hear that DH is still poorly and your back is
still painful sylv. Sending big (((hugs))) to you both. xxx

Many congrats on winning a bag of wine mummy 2!
Excellent prize! Your days ahead sound so
incredibly busy but fun! You're an absolute angel!

    Good Morning,

Glad you have lovely weather Alfie. It is like the middle of winter here - torrential rain and 50mhp winds with flood warnings in area! Going to get some sunshine on Thursday afternoon according to forecast.

Well done on the wine mummy2 (yes equivalent of 2 bottles!)
You have a busy time, having had 3 boys and a girl I remember it well. Glad they are all grown up now! Whitley Bay is lovely and yes their fish and chips are amazing and usually huge.

A bay treee sounds lovely FF. I bought 20 pansies yesterday and planted them so hope they are ok in the bad weather. They shouldn't get thirsty anyway.

Hope everyone has a lucky day and their weather is better than ours.

Oh no Sheils..Did we steal the good weather ..it's totally wonderful here! Hope it improves for you. Pansys are so hardy..Most of my neighbours have some of mine that have grown when the winds blown the seeds into cracks in the wall !

Garden grass cut, weeds pulled in one boarder..tulips almost out. Planted wild flowers Poppies, cornflowers , cowslips, hollyhocks and fox gloves. I'm not a formal gardener I prefer wild meadow look full of bees and butterflys.

I really need a new garden table mines rotted..Will keep an eye out for comps!
One bed changed clothes on the line..Now off to wash the bathroom and hall floor . Early postie today B-day card and my Eldest son passed an exam which is equivalent to a C grade GCSE..now I need to try and find something to store it in lol

Our wildlife is in serious trouble. Do you see as many butterflies

that the dawn chorus doesn’t sing as loudly as it once did?

Pesticides are a big part of the problem. They are having a

Hope everyone is still enjoying their sunshine. Sun did come out here for a few hours yesterday afternoon but it was still windy. Wet and misty here at the moment.

I saw a programe on Hever Castle a little while ago Alfie. (Think it was the dog walking series that was on) It did look really interesting.

    Thanks for lucky ladybird FF.

    Good morning everyone

I hope you're all ok. It's going to be another very warm
day here today and I think you will be enjoying some
    sunshine up your way sheils.

Took advantage of the weather and managed to wash
the covers on one settee. Thankfully they are washable
cos they're cream coloured and tend to show up any
spec of dirt, particularly after I've been looking after
the family doggies & they come bounding in from the
    garden with muddy paws!

They are so comfy though, really squishy, although
the covers get fairly heavy when wet and would take an
age to dry in the tumble drier (it would also be very
costly to dry them that way) so it was lovely to get
them dried outside. Will be doing the same with 2-seater
    settee and chair today (hopefully!).

Also going to pop out early today to shops to get some
food provisions in, mainly salad/quiches etc because
it seems the decent weather will be here until at least
    Sunday.

Hope all is well with you and yours rose. xxx

    Good Morning,

Glad you are enjoying the sunshine and making good use of it Alfie.
It isn't raining here and the sun is out faintly but not supposed to stay.
Forecast is for 12C so won't be out sunbathing! Our area is really being left out with rain coming back on Saturday. At least we are heading to the east on Sunday where the weather looks better.

Not got much planned for today but think we might plan a trip to one of our nearest NTS gardens -Threave tomorrow.
    Good luck everyone.

    Good morning everyone

Hope you're all well - it's another glorious day here,
just been out watering the tubs, feeding the birdies,
    sorting out bird baths etc.

I agree fire**fly, salads are perfect at the mo. Although
this springs to mind .... 'Ne'er cast a clout till May be
out'! Apparently next week will see the return of
'normal' weather for this time of year. We may also
have thunder tomorrow towards the end of the day!

Think all the London marathon runners will find the warm
weather a bit tricky on Sunday. They've already been advised
not to wear costumes due to the exceptional heat. Hope they'll
    all be ok.

Have a lovely time at Threave gardens sheils, if you're
    venturing out there today.
