Just typed a lot and it has disappeared. Here goes again.

Today we went to Apple Store and it seems iPad batteries cannot be replaced unlike on iPhones. in the end DH was adamant we bought a new iPad.
Then began the performance of trying to set it up and through iCloud retrieve what was on the old one. Lo passwords well ask me another. Also we don!!!8217;t have a smart phone so the assistant, who said she would help set it could only stare at the old phone I produced. Phone has no signal in shopping centre. Assistant went off out but still no signal. Only now have we eventually got into the new iPad and wifi seems to be working. I dont want to hear about passwords ever again.

Still. we have a new iPad and I think my fingers are going to be very pleased.

Hope everyone has had a good evening.

Sunny here too Alfie but seems a lot of people have snow again.

Forgot to say we waited awhile at Apple Store because we didn!!!8217;t know we had to say we were there to one of the assistants. We sat at the Genius Bar.A smily woman came and sat next to us with normal sized rucksack on her back. The young Genius explained to her what was wrong with her phone and then suddenly we saw him jump back. He!!!8217;d noticed what we hadn!!!8217;t the dogs head coming out of the rucksack.

Still on lap top as not all passwords i.e. email addresses and this site sorted.

Yes, Women!!!8221;s International Day. Special this year with 100 years since first Women could vote.

Hope everyone has a good and lucky day

Our nearest one is 5 miles away and i only pop in there when i have the dentist as it is over the road from them.It will be good to have a local one.Hope you all have a lucky day.

Just seen on the Martins twitter feed on MSE that he has been talking about loosing his mother aged 11 in an interview on the BBC.

Someone commenting on TW has put
The worst thing about grief is that people try so hard to go back to normal but there is no normal anymore. You need to make a new normal.

    How true this is.

Been a lovely day here with bright sunshine and feeling really Spring like. Have bedding out on the line so must remember to bring it in!
Had a nice walk along the river earlier.

Lovely to get a new iPad leanfun even with password problems. I was going to get DH one but they are so expensive I got him a Kindle Fire instead! He loves it as he had been using my old Hudl. He mainly plays Candy Crush and looks a few things up so it is perfect for him and only cost 35 in Amazon sale.

    Love the hippo pic Alfie.

Hope it has dried up for you FF.

Well done to your DS indie.

Hope everyone is having a good day - be lucky.

Bright sunshine here this morning definitely spring like.

Yes, its great to have the new iPad. Shells they are expensive but having not looked at them since we bought the old one four years ago it was not as much money. We are very fortunate now with not loads but no money worries. DH never has any ideas of what to buy re Christmas and birthday so buys nothing. I think this was years worth of presents. I was surprised they said you could have new battery for iPhones and not iPads. The iPad is great for keeping in touch with DDs as they have iPhones.

Indie well done on your DSs win.

Hope everyone has a good weekend and enjoys the better weather.

Better try to catch up with comps but never seem to these days. Good luck all.

Woke up to heavy frost here but the sun is shining away now and frost melting nicely.

DD has an iPhone and the battery went on it after 9 mths leanfun. She has a contract phone as part of her bfs contract ( she pays a fraction of what he has to and then pinches his data as he hardly uses his!) Anyway, EE took it back from her and sent it off to get new battery but she finished up with a new phone so was happy, although she loved the one they had loaned her in the meantime. I would like one myself but keep using the Sony Experia I won about 3 years ago. Not sure what I will do when my IPad mini dies as I won it too. I am too mean to buy another!

Hope everyone has a lucky day.

    Good morning everyone

It sounds as if you're all in fine fettle on this glorious
    Friday!

Have a lovely time out gardening fire**fly.

I'll be out in the garden once I've received delivery
    of two packages due today.

Re iPads ... I would also hate to be without mine! Kids
bought me a mini iPad a couple of years ago (birthday
pressie) and it's so handy especially keeping in touch
    with everyone.

Well, must be time for cuppa & comp catch up.

Have a lovely and lucky day all & please take care

Hope everyone's well today. I've been sat here since
5am (doing this n' that on my lappy) accompanied by the
dawn chorus - absolutely beautiful singing.
