Definitely INOD :). Another day with no toothache :D which is fab.

Not much to report from today, worked late and it was a NSD :). Since getting home, I'm had a wee pamper evening - face mask, hair mask and painted my nails.

    End of month review
    - food £159.95/£150
    - fuel/travel £144.87/£144.65 (had to up original budget)
    - social £62.95/£70 (had to up original budget)
Used most of my wages from 2nd job this month to increase budgets which isn't great since ideally I'd prefer to use it for paying off debt/saving. At least my underspend on social just about makes up for the overspend in the other 2.

    - exercise 4/12
    - debt repayments £158.80/£200
    - emergency fund £30/£100
    - extra income £112.54/£150
    - NSDs 12/18
So definite room for improvement in all budgets/targets for next month.

End of month debt totals are
    - flat debt £1128.52
    - car debt £689.62
    - 2/60 monthly car repayments made

Away to finish the budget for next month, back soon.
    Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £10542.72/£15000 (70.3% saved). Emergency fund - £1402.24/£1500 (93.5% saved).

Ok so here's the budget for Feb
    - £1000 usual bills (no council tax :))
    - £150 food
    - £150 car repayment
    - £75 petrol
    - £125 electricity bill
    - £150 presents/social (my brother's 30th plus SILs and OHs birthdays)
    - £25 car fund
    - £25 emergency fund
    - £10 toiletries
    - £65.38 debt (split £50 flat debt, £15.38 car debt)

Really don't feel like money is stretching far enough. I could really do with a haircut and some new clothes, however, will just have to wait. I've also organised a girly weekend in Edinburgh in March with some old school friends so better start saving some money for that. Hmm think I'll phone 2nd job tomorrow and see if I can pick up some extra shifts.

    Targets for next month
    - exercise 12 times (this is running or going to the gym)
    - 10,000 steps daily (step count has really fallen since getting the car so must make more of an effort)
    - pay £150 off debt (ideally would love to get under £1000 for flat debt)
    - £100 in the emergency fund
    - earn £100 from 2nd job
    - have 18 NSDs
    Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £10542.72/£15000 (70.3% saved). Emergency fund - £1402.24/£1500 (93.5% saved).

you are doing well, the car budget will take a while to suss out (expensive things, cars) but you have still managed to reduce the debt whilst enjoying life so that's excellent :-)

Thanks Boodedoo and fay66. Yep having a car is definitely expensive and I'd have very little debt left if it wasn't for it but I do love my wee car, it just makes life so much easier :)

Been super busy so haven't managed to post for a few days.

    Wed
I spent £20.38 on a present and card for my brother. I've still to contribute to the big family present, unsure of how much my contribution will be yet though.

    Thurs
Needed toilet rolls and milk so did the weekly shop, £22.16 spent.

    Fri
£2.90 spent on posting the present plus £9.54 on a few things that I hadn't been able to get the day before and a few ciders for today. £3 bank account reward went in so paid it to the debt.

    Today
It's been a NSD. I went to the gym this morning and then did a bit of cleaning. Rest of the day has been spent watching rugby (painful experience watching Scotland :() and drinking cider :)

A lovely day off today, went for a run this morning - first one in about 7 weeks but thankfully wasn't as hard as I feared. In the afternoon, me and OH went for a walk along the beach, it was a beautiful day although a bit chilly.

I also tidied the flat, sorted out my makeup bag and jewellery box and made soup. Away for an early night as I've got a busy week ahead.
