Keep Moving Challenge for 2018 24th Dec 17 at 11:20 AM
With so many folk having fit-bit type devices (or similar) and keeping a note of how far they have walked or run each day I start this thread as an open challenge to record your distances.

No specific target this year, just set your own.

Whether you will be walking, running, cycling or swimming I hope that you will use this thread to keep us updated on your progress.
Use the thread as a way to encourage others to keep moving and to get motivation yourself.

It is good to have a target to aim for but don't over stretch yourself so much that you either get disappointed in your own progress or find that you have too much to make up after coming back from a holiday or extra work having cut back your miles.

I say miles simply because I am old and still measure that way but your own personal challenge could be anything from miles, kilometers, laps, steps etc.

Keep Moving in 2018 Challenge - Target 3333 miles
    This week - 77.7
    Total so far - 1537.8

I hit 500 miles for the year this weekend, probably do quite a few this week if the weather stays like this. Good to get out for a walk in the evenings now.

Hello. I do 7000 - 9000 steps five days a week when at work. This week I did nearly 49000 steps (22.6 miles). Thinking about starting jogging / running but need to find some motivation (and time unfortunately)

I started the week with a bang but finished with a whimper

Got my #3 target though so still well chuffed, just sorry that I slowed down from Wednesday onwards or I could have been into the 90s.

Due to fitbit playing up some weeks, I am several weeks behind with logging miles on here.

    37.52

    39.23

    33.71

    Total to add: 110.46 miles.

Am on holiday in Corfu for next two weeks from Monday so assuming my recorded steps will drop. Will try to get some walking in but I really struggle walking in the heat and laying on a sunbed doesnt rack them up either.

30.1 miles this week for me. Finally managed to get a bit of training done. 696.2 miles in total now.

There will be more miles next week as I have a 36 mile race on Sunday.

I will be using some of my banked miles this coming week as I've decided to paint the front of my house
So unless I keep my TomTom on while going up & down the ladder, it will be a short week for me.
