Welcome to the £2 Savers Club 2018

The aim is to collect every £2 coin you can lay your hands on! It is entirely up to you whether you want to:
    A) Save for a particular length of time e.g. monthly or till December 2018,
    B) Save for a particular reason e.g. to pay the car insurance, to pay for a family holiday or to buy birthday presents throughout the year,
    C) Save until you have a specific amount e.g. £20 or £100 or a pot full!
    D) Save for any other reason you can think of...
You are also welcome to do what you wish with the money. Either bank it as you please or at the end of the year or spend it as required.

Above all else remember this is a fun thread, but the aim of this website is to SAVE, so any encouragement, comments or help you can give to others are always very welcome.

Anyone who wishes to join (or be removed though I hope that isn’t the case!) is always very welcome, please just ask and I will add you as soon as I can and allocate you a number. Also, if anyone wants to add anything to the list such as a target or a date to aim for etc. then let me know and I will add it. However there is no pressure to do this as many people just wish to be able to save as and when they can.

So that’s it. Start saving, comment regularly and hunt for those £2s. Any questions or comments please ask.

Two more coins, that makes £150,my target!
Never thought it would be so hard to save £2 coins. I started off so well in January, then it all went downhill.I think we are definitely heading towards a cashless society,I am sure there are less coins around than say 10 years ago. And MSE folks hoarding them all away in their pots dont help either! Of course I do most of my shopping online,or by card,so it took the help of Mr Dusty and my friend at the family history group to even get to this rather sparse level..Did much better with my Sealed Pot coins, around £270 there, and its all a big help towards Xmas.Half my Xmas budget achieved just from saving the coins in my purse! Brilliant

Another 4 in the last 4 weeks, which is better than nothing.

They are very few and far between at the moment , this is way harder than I thought, harder than when I wasnít officially saving them...
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early........ Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.
