Shared ownership but I'm registered as sole proprietor and I have a charging order 12th Dec 17 at 12:32 AM
With regards to the 'Charging Order, Myth?' thread..

I own 50% of the value of my property, the other 50% is with a Housing Association. I figured this was joint ownership but on checking with Land Registry, I am listed as the only 'registered proprietor'. I pay Mortgage for my half and rent for the other, to the HA.

I have two Intrim Charging Orders on the property. As I understand it (re. the afformentioned thread) if I was the joint owner, I could sell or re-mortgage the property without the debtors making any claim to the equity/profit released.

I figured I was ok, thinking I had joint ownership. It appears I may not. Anyone have any clarification on this? Is it simply a 'pecking order' of who gets the profit from sale? Cheers
