Boiler and heating cover 6th Dec 17 at 1:13 PM
Today I got my boiler and central heating cover renewal in the post. What a shock, 396.92 this was covering my 11yr old boiler and C/H I phoned them and got it down to 228 but I told them I would cancel and look around. I have found some more cover but it's 8 a month with 75 excess. Have I done right by accepting this? been on my own I find that I doubt myself afterwards, I have got 14 days cooling off period. Forgot to say my old policy included a replacement boiler if it couldn't be repaired

You have still saved 57pa, assuming no more than one call out per year.
How many times have you used this cover in the past 11 years, bearing in mind that the boiler probably had a 5 year warranty anyway?
