Total parking solutions - received NTK. First appeal. 5th Dec 17 at 5:51 PM
Thank you very much for all the info that you guys provide on this site! Super helpful!

I received a ticket on my windscreen on 23/10/17 and ignored it.

I received a NTK from Total Parking Solutions (BPA member) with an issue date of 28/11/17 and now just want some reassurance on what to do next.

The alleged "parking event" was for not parking within a mark bay although the picture they provide clearly showing my car within a marked bay.

I gather that appeals to Total parking solutions are usually rejected and that the aim to appeal is to receive a POPLA code.

So is my next step to appeal on this site online-payments/appeal or do I appeal via post with the following declaration?

    Dear Sirs

    Re: PCN No. ....................

I challenge this 'PCN' as keeper of the car.

I believe that the driver parked within the bay in contradiction to the claim that the car wasn't parked in a bay.

There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. You must either rely on the POFA 2012 and offer me a POPLA code, or cancel the charge.

I do not give you consent to process data relating to me or this vehicle. I deny liability for any sum at all and you must consider this letter a Section 10 Notice under the DPA. You are required to respond within 21 days. I have kept proof of submission of this appeal and look forward to your reply.

    Yours faithfully,

    Thanks again!

that is ok as it does not mention who was driving

use whichever appeal options are available to you , detailed on the postal NTK

on this forum , stick to the terms THE DRIVER and THE KEEPER

Private Parking ticket? check the 2 sticky threads by coupon-mad and crabman in the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board forum for the latest advice or maybe try pepipoo or C.A.G. or legal beagles forums if you need legal advice as well because this parking forum is not about debt collectors or legal matters per se

OP, following on from Redx's post, it might be a good idea to change your second sentence to something like:
The driver received a ticket on the windscreen on 23/10/17 and ignored it.
