So....... life appears to have changed today!

I came downstairs to a letter from my partner saying he needed time away. After 11 plus years. Not sure how I feel.

At the moment I need to get a job. Not as easy as that sounds as I have quite a problem leaving the house at all. I am waiting to get to the top of the list for some CBT help. I also have some chronic conditions too which have hindered our relationship.

As you can imagine, I am not sure what will happen. My plan is to do nothing rash but try to pay down my loan as much as possible. Then I am going to have to find somewhere to live etc.

I did say I was going to start a diary so I think this is one hell of a way to get started!

    That's really good Pauline .

Did you watch that Rhod Gilbert programme about shyness? It was fascinating (I had no idea he was shy). Apparently with anxiety it gets worse if you give in to it, so you really do need to feel the fear and do it anyway.

It seems to be working for you anyway .

    Good evening

I am finding the lows after a challenge, such as the hygienist, really hard to handle.

Yesterday I did go out to see a friend whose father died on Sunday. Even when a death is expected, it's not easy to deal with. There's so little to say.

Today I am back to being good for nothing. I am tired and a bit teary. I know I am getting better but I am exhausted afterwards.

I am off to have a little swim in a bit. I don't want to go but I am determined to get there. I have eaten well again today.

So I am off to the dentist tomorrow. That isn't going to be too bad

    Thanks for popping by

I hope you managed to get out for your swim Pauline. You will get low days as you are pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, but they should lessen in time .

    Morning Pauline,

    Thank you for your messages.

You have done fantastically well this week, I could not believe it all. If you feel tired maybe a day doing something then a day off perhaps is the way to go.

    Hope dentist goes well.

    Have a good day.

    Dentist done and dusted!

If I had known I could find such a kind dentist I would have gone years ago. The whole surgery seems such a calm and pleasant place with the staff friendly and reassuring.

I changed my library books. Hopefully I have made a better selection than last week. Again, I left the house without thinking.

So it's lunch and a cool down. Still beautifully sunny here

Enjoy your day, thanks for popping by

Just checking in, its lovely to see you pushing yourself, doing things like swimming even when you don't quite feel up to it. I think there is a fine balance between pushing yourself within your limits but also pushing slightly too much. Be kind to yourself and give yourself some time when you need it but then get right back up when you're feeling ready.

Well done on the dentist, its wonderful when you find the right one, whether it is dentist, doctors etc but once you find them it is such a weight lifted.

You are doing great Pauline and I still find you an inspiration (even if I don't find much time to get here lately).
