So....... life appears to have changed today!

I came downstairs to a letter from my partner saying he needed time away. After 11 plus years. Not sure how I feel.

At the moment I need to get a job. Not as easy as that sounds as I have quite a problem leaving the house at all. I am waiting to get to the top of the list for some CBT help. I also have some chronic conditions too which have hindered our relationship.

As you can imagine, I am not sure what will happen. My plan is to do nothing rash but try to pay down my loan as much as possible. Then I am going to have to find somewhere to live etc.

I did say I was going to start a diary so I think this is one hell of a way to get started!

How could I not know that is the Old Spice theme!!

I have played a little from you tube this afternoon so I feel a little more knowledgeable. Of course it would have helped if I had managed to stay awake.

So I am treating this like a date with myself. Nice shower and hair wash. Had a nice pizza and now getting a bit panicky but OK.

    Send me positive vibes!

I did it!! I did it!! I did it!!

It was brilliant and I loved it. Everyone about was very friendly as it was made up of local singers as well as a school choir. All in all about 150 singers and a full orchestra..

Now I did do something daft. I booked the ticket on line and didn't quite check what I bought. The ticket I bought was for Saturday 3rd March. How embarrassing. Luckily there was a ticket available so I stayed.

Back home now and exhausted. However I did it. And you know what, it really wasn't so bad

That sounds like a super date - and of course you have a ticket in hand now so you can go again! You are not the only one who books wrong dates - someone else I know has had it happen, it's too easy to do.

So pleased you had a good evening.

That's awesome about the concert, Pauline, well done! Once you've done these things hopefully it'll get easier in the future. A real example of "feeling the fear and doing it anyway"

I love the carmina thing - blast it in the car when I come out of particularly crap meetings. Always clears my head and makes me feel better, but have to admit its one of the very few bits of classical that I do know. I bet it was brilliant in a live environment.

At least you have the 3rd March one to look forward too!

Apparently there were 220 singers plus full orchestra. It was a beautiful noise!!

Yesterday I was wiped out. It seems I can do it but the next day I am fit for nothing.

I did go out and did some shopping. I broke my golden rule of not shopping when hungry and I had no list or plan at all.

Today I have been to the hygienist which was nowhere near as bad as I had expected. I know my teeth need attention but I seem to have hit on a great dental practice where all the staff are calm, comforting and yet professional. Just what I needed.

I have rewarded myself with a crayfish sandwich which was delicious. Again I feel shattered but it is definitely getting easier to get out of the house. I actually didn't even think about it this morning. How great is that?

Enjoy your week, thank you for your support
