    Can anyone say if I will need to pay stamp duty on a shared ownership where the property value is £350,000 and my share is 60%

    it would help if you explain what you are and whether the property is in "London".....
    - first time buyer?
    - existing owner looking to staircase up?
    - what?

    have you even read the basics of how SDLT works for shared ownership? There are 2 choices, once made they cannot be swapped.

    - market value election


    - pay on staircase stages
