    I am just wondering if you can find info about different mortgage lenders in reguards to their lending criteria e.g if they take self employed, affordability etc so we can see if we are 'what they are looking for' so we can reduce chances of being declined.

    As above. That is exactly what a broker does.

    No but my partner is self employed so know some don't like that
