Credit card / paypal 29th Nov 17 at 4:09 PM
Sorry if this has been asked before

My mother has paid for a holiday by giving her credit card details as normal , but has received a payment receipt from Paypal ( she doesnt have a paypal account ).
Can anyone explain what is going on ? it is normal or is something dodgy going on ?

    Thanks -
In all my years on the net I have never seen this before. Just being extra cautious when dealing with a company I have never heard of before

I would wonder why they were using paypal, not the cheapest.

But there are plenty of big companies that accept paypal, so i assume it makes little difference.

Although there have been threads where claiming money back from a credit card after using ebay or other purchases using paypal. If a business use Paypal as their main bank is there a difference?
