    Wow, that sounds like a lot of energy being used to make that kind of saving.

    I'm on the same tariff at slightly above average usage and I would save around £70 by switching to PE or £120 for Pure Planet.

    It's a gamble but you can always switch as there are no exit fees... if you can find a cheaper alternative if prices do increase.

    We believe in owning up when we mess up and getting right onto it to fix it, so rest assured we'll be back to that company you love again. With over 16,000 members calling People's Energy home we're also closer now to beginning to pay back our first 75% of profits back .

    So I got the quote and "joined".

    No acknowledgement email, other than one that said I had successfully set up a DD.

    Sent an email asking for confirmation that my switch application had been received, no acknowledgement of receipt of email.

    Called them. I guess the 18 seconds average waiting time is to get to the menu options. Waited on hold for a few minutes then hung up.

    All I know at the minute is that they can charge my bank account whatever and whenever.

I contacted People's Energy by phone yesterday and was told you have raised a ticket but, as I say, there was no indication how long it would take to sort things out. Is the email address above a general customer service email address because I can't see that I will be told any different if I contact that.     Thinking of changing but I have an Economy 7 Meter, ;not been used for years at the cheap rate I just pay a normal rate all the time. Have just read something from someone on here that I will be penalised with a higher rate for having an E7 meter, is this correct and what is the difference in normal rate and what I would be charged?
