Just have to make this announcement ,after 11 years with Payplan on a DMP we are finally debt free! We had debts totalling 100k after much soul searching and a health wake up call,we sold up,downsized, negotiated and finally paid the last debt off last week. For the first time in 11 years i can sleep easy in my bed and can plan for the future. So very happy, would like to thank all who have helped me along the way and i really don't know how i would have coped if i hadn't clicked on this site,i can honestly say it has saved our lives, thank you xxx

Now start utilising the collory to what got you in the position first.

Regular savings with the money you were previously utilising to clear the debt and look at the opportunity for highest interest rates with bank accounts.

Look into pensions with employer or SIPPs

Don't let the hard work of the past just stop as you are debt free, go forward with the same planning and application to build a future on saving for the next goal.
Debt is a symptom, solve the problem.

Trust me we will never get into debt again,it wasnt really our fault to start with,we had a series of horrific events that led to the debt, car crash, redundancy and a massive house fire with which we were underinsured ,it was actuthe bank's idea to max out everything possible to repair the house and then seek advice in paying it back, which we have now done
