    Received a letter from Equifax saying my name dob and tel nos have been accessed during a cyberattack. Does anyone know what action if any should be taken. Ive rung them and they wont delete my information.

    They can't delete your information. Well, not if you want credit from pretty much anyone ever again.

    The letter you received will tell you the action to take, namely getting their identity protection service free, as it was their mistake that put your data at risk to begin with.

    Don't give them any more information to lose. They wanted my passport or driving licence details and a recent utility bill.

    No chance. And their incompetent advisers in the east are unintelligible.

    Money after free subscription cancelled

    Please do not recommend this company on the web site. They have taken money from my account after cancelling the subscription after a few days. No response to my emails and the help line refer you to the web site to email a complaint which they don't respond to. Avoid.
