Just having a nice G&T. I had not had one in ages, then had some on holiday, and enjoying them again. Had no lemon, so just added a little lemon juice, so all good.

Anyone know how good that is? Our fence is old. Just needs some colour put back in it lol. Im loathe to change it as it still seems sturdy and knowing my luck if I changed them the new one will collapse at the next hurricane

Private message's - I like those. PMs. Plural, no apostrophe. The apostrophe police are out - I spotted something on a major website last night with an errant apostrophe and since I have nothing better to do...

Hello again sorry i am ambushing the posts this afternoon.

Has anyone got any good tips for removing the smell of dog pee from the carpet please ?
I keep washing it with allsorts but nothing seem to be working.

She sleeps in the front room so the 'best room' as it were in the house smells like a latrine Only had my new carpet 8 months too.

Who's NR Locarr, or should I not ask?

Edit: Ahh, think you mean none runners. The numbers on the list are not the actual numbers of the horse (to stop people just picking the favourites, makes it totally random. Looks like 2 people on each list will get none runners, a bit unfair, but it is the luck of the game, and in the rules, I did say.....Oh, and if you pick a non runner/donkey/3 legged albatross, tough!
(Knowing my luck, I will have one of them.

Can I make a suggestion? If the winner of the sweepstakes doesnt have a favourite charity, please can they consider donating it to Sarahdol75s Race for life. There are a few of the Elite that have been unfortunate to get this dreadful desease in one form or the other, I feel that it would be good to give something back iykwim.

What time is the Grand National Race?
The time of the race itself has moved over the years. Many were used to it being at about 3.15pm, but in order to give more time between some of the other races the main event has moved to 5.15pm

In recent years the Grand National start times have been put back to 5:15pm and is now shown on ITV1. The later race time is mainly to attract more viewers as when the race was run around 4pm there were generally a lot of other sporting events like football going on at that time too. So now you can watch the Grand National at 5:15pm on Saturday 14th April 2018.

It's Grand National Day Tomorrow. We have done it in the past, so against my better judgement, as I am carp at organising things, we should try to raise some money for good causes. Usual rules apply. Pick a number, copy the list (highlight, then press Ctrl 'C'), then paste it into a new post (press Ctrl 'V') and I will do my best to keep up with the chaos. I will request someone as my trusty person who will keep a copy list to the horses/corresponding numbers to make sure I don't cheat. The winner gets to choose the cause and we all pay our 2 to that cause. I hope im not breaking any forum rules, as all charity links/donation links will be put onto the relevant forum section. As ever there's no obligation to take part at all, and if it all goes breastage up, blame Bubbs Oh, and if you pick a non runner/donkey/3 legged albatross, tough!
