It's Grand National Day Tomorrow. We have done it in the past, so against my better judgement, as I am carp at organising things, we should try to raise some money for good causes. Usual rules apply. Pick a number, copy the list (highlight, then press Ctrl 'C'), then paste it into a new post (press Ctrl 'V') and I will do my best to keep up with the chaos. I will request someone as my trusty person who will keep a copy list to the horses/corresponding numbers to make sure I don't cheat. The winner gets to choose the cause and we all pay our 2 to that cause. I hope im not breaking any forum rules, as all charity links/donation links will be put onto the relevant forum section. As ever there's no obligation to take part at all, and if it all goes breastage up, blame Bubbs Oh, and if you pick a non runner/donkey/3 legged albatross, tough!

I have moved the 2 none runners to the nearest slot on the second list, if P2TKL or 3dogs would prefer a different number, just shout.

    Nearly forgot to mention.....

Northumbrian Water......and I'm sure other water companies are offering the same....are giving up to 50% discount on water bills for low income families

    https://www.nwl.co.uk/your-home/your-account/SupportPLUS.aspx

Please get the word out if you know families who are struggling.

I did an application last week for a family and it's so easy even DM could do it

I'm not a happy bunny today.

Was over the moon this morning when got a text 7.15ish to say my Approved Food order was already out for delivery between 8am and 9am. But my joy was soon to be madness with UK mail.

So Mr TS unlocked the porch door and kept an eye out tracking it online, we were number 4, he saw they were at number 3 on the list, didn't hear anything and next he looks and sees delivery was attempted.

So we both go out to porch see the card and then, we realise UK mail van is still parked across the road, so Mr TS goes running out for it to not see him and drive off with our parcel still in the back.

So I goes round in circles trying to ring and speak to a real person to try and stop them driving off too far but no you can't do that and somehow I just managed to change delivery to leave in a safe place on Monday. I thought with that option I would at least have to speak to a real person to tell them my safe place but no. I had already tried hitting all the buttons on my phone other than the ones they said to get through to an operator.

Anyway about hour later I found the "local" depot number, it's not far from us, spoke to a lovely man who said he would ring driver, I even said I could pop up for it. So he actually rings back and I think brilliant and he says the driver has agreed to deliver again on his way back from depot between 11am and 12pm.

I got out 2 creme eggs thinking that was really good customer service that deserved a treat BUT guess what no one has turned up.

Have definitely not missed them as haven't moved away from the window for more than seconds and I waited until 1pm and tried to ring the local depot again then but of course no bloomin answer now.

Glad to get that off my chest....

A receipt - two bananas, appearing separately. 7 different items. Why couldn't they have weighed one on the weighing machine and the other at the SS machine?

In all the kerfuffle this morning I have just realised I have forgotten to take my stomach tablet.

And now I have just eaten some left over prawn and egg curry from last night. And a bit of cake.

Must be taken on empty stomach....must remember tomorrow.

Meanwhile I just do not understand! I do not understand how anyone could ever put an apostrophe like this as I physically could never bring myself to write or type one (unless done deliberately as at the outset of this post - otherwise I just find it physically impossible to write wrongly - there must be something wrong with me). In fact, mine, without apostrophes, look odd as I'm the only one that ever does it correctly. Correct to a fault.
