ARGOS Coversafe Plevin Refund 30th Oct 17 at 2:36 PM
Just received cheque £1,239.87 for a refund of excess commission and profit share relating to my Argos card Coversafe policy premiums (£263.34) paid between 2004- 2011.

(My PPI complaint was previously rejected as pre-2005).

Breakdown of annual Plevin redress values shows the unfair commission & profit share refund varied between 33.5% and 37.6% per year of premiums paid!! Compound interest was then added to each year!!!8217;s refund.

Complaint was settled in just over 8 weeks.

I also received a letter from Argos
I originally complained about 2 years ago but complaint was rejected and then i received this

I doubt i would get anything back and i am not counting on it but they have wrote to me stating that i can try and claim so worth a shot

I think my 4 weeks is up on Monday so should be soon i imagine but i am not hoping for a massive amount, i honestly dont think i paid that much in fairness but we will see

Received a cheque for £164.21 , not as much as others but considering i hardly paid anything i am over the moon, nice little surprise in time for Christmas! I have heard through friends they have also received letters for Barclay card and other credit cards so you never know other people may receive something else for another account! Merry Christmas everyone :-)

I got an offer today of £115.88 under the pelvin ruling, its a small amount however will go towards some holiday funds which I would not have had. Its always worth a try as never even thought i would get anything from them.

I've received a cheque from Argos under Plevin for £876.93 - they rejected my PPI claim, but said this what they can pay me under this ruling. I'm happy, this can go into my birthday fund.
