    DRO through stepchange waiting times 23rd Oct 17 at 9:29 AM
    Hello there,

    Just trying to gauge how long the wait is from sending the DRO application to receiving the bar code. I've read on here it's roughly 6 weeks but wondered if anyone got there's sooner? I submitted my application via email over a week and a half ago but I'm
    really impatient. !!!128522;

    Hi Pickles
    From what Stepchange told me it really does depend on how much the debt is.
    If you are close to the 20k limit i think they priorotise the application as interest and fees could take you over the top.
    I would give them a call and ask at what stage the application is.
