Barclays Partner Finance Query 7th Oct 17 at 11:09 AM
I am one of the victims of the timeshare concept and wanted to see if there is any guidance available from the forum please?

The short of the issue is we got missold timeshare with effectively a signed off loan from Barclays partner finance despite of already being in a DMP.

So my question is - are there any other people who may be in a similar situation or have been in a similar situation but managed to come out of it? If so how and what can we do to seek financial/legal advice and is there any possibility of writing off the existing loan?

Nope there is no way out.
If Barclays conducted a credit search on you and found out about your debts and still lent money to you - well that's down to them.
You knew that you should not have entered into any new credit agreements whilst in a DMP but I believe it is not illegal to do so.

So basically you are stuck with it.
