Current Most Annoying Adverts 5th Oct 17 at 6:13 PM
Yes I know we have probably visited this topic before, but new monstrosities are out there!

What are the adverts on TV at the moment that you dislike most?

For me the bizarre Arnold Schwarzenegger head on caterpillar tracks PPI thing and the Skeletor Moneysupermarket one (am I allowed to say that?) are currently annoying.

But I also include anything that "sponsors" a program especially Boots and Dr Oetker as you just get so sick of the sight of them.

What is not appealing to you?

The Larry Lamb trailer, if that counts.

    And the programme
    And Larry Lamb.

I find all adverts annoying. It's one of the reasons I record everything - so I can fast forward through them and don't have to watch them.

I don't watch them much. Some are funny though. That "Zubby doo" one makes me smile.
Haven't got a clue what it's advertising though! (Really!)
The ones that annoy me the most are the identical, "Brought to you by" ones at the start and end of each commercial break.

Luckily, as most of the progs are recorded, I can fast forward, but they come on at every ad break! Aaaaargh!

The moneysupermarket Skeletor and He Man doing the Dirty Dancing dance. Way to ruin two big parts of my childhood in one advert.

Zippy, George & Bungle from Rainbow advertising pizza.
    Childhood = ruined.

And also that stupid He-Man & Skeletor Dirty Dancing one. I know some folk like it, but I think it's horrible.

I love He-Man & Skeletor doing the Dirty Dancing routine

The 'zubby doo' advert is for Ribena. This is the second year they've run it.

Hopefully my most hated ad isn't around as much now. It's the stupid woman doing a work out....
    Hips! Bum! Heart (sickly smile).
    I didn't know Oral B even MADE a toothpaste.

Ok luv, now bog off with your stupid over acting and sing song voice

I'm sure I've mentioned this one before but the Uncle Ben's "teach your children to cook" one. Pretty much every time it comes on I end up screaming "It's NOT cooking!" at the telly.

All Haribo ads, mainly because people talking with the wrong voice is something which freaks me out - it could only be worse by having kids talking with adult voices.

I'm sure there are others but, as I most often watch recorded programmes, I'm fortunately not subjected to adverts too often.

I hate any advert with dubbed singing animals or children, they do my head in. Sadly it seems quite common at the moment.

I agree with a lot of the others too. The Haribo adverts feel creepy and I don't like the moneysupermarket adverts either.
