Help? Galaxy S8 Deals for Christmas... 29th Sep 17 at 11:32 PM
    Evening all,

I hoping you can help point me in the direction of the cheapest way to buy someone a Galaxy S8?

My father already has a sim on contract with - what he finds - a good data/call allowance, so I'm looking to buy him the handset only for Christmas.

Happy to buy it now and keep it until December, pay in full or in instalments, or wait if anyone thinks a good deal will come up between now and then.

I'm not in the habit of buying phones (I've had the same i5s since six months after launch) so please let me know if there's any specific information needed to give the best advice.

    Thank you in advance.
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

    House deposit: 26% = 23,000 + 700pm * 16 months = 33,000

Goal: Keep the bigger picture in mind...

Give him an i.o.u. and wait until he price possibly drops after Christmas?
Did you hear about the politician who had a backside transplant? It rejected him.

Buying now and not having the use of it for several months in my eyes is pointless
