Gifted deposit solicitors 14th Sep 17 at 6:40 PM
    So this is what happen,

Full application for a mortgage done.
Solicitors sent me a purchase form with a section for gifted deposits.
My father has sent me from abroad 150.000 to invest in property and I'm going to use part of that money as a deposit for this house.
Can i put the full amount of 150.000 on the bracket " the amount being provided towards the purchase " as i dont want my father to know how much I'm putting as a deposit ?
    Thanks for the replies!

You can't declare anymore than 100% of the deposit as a gift.

Is this really a gift or is your father looking to use you as a proxy buyer for himself?
