No need to say anything new about Corbyn when the existing evidence against him is so overwhelming.

That being said I'm sure his list of despicable behaviour will continue to mount up. Most likely in the treatment of his own Labour MPs.

In a thread about JRM all you've done is talk about Corbyn.

You ok? Any thoughts about JRM's views on same sex marriage and abortion?

To be fair to the weirdo pain-worshipper, a large part of the reason he holds such weirdo beliefs is because he hasn't ever been in a position to actually directly harm homosexuals and women.

Corbyn, on the other hand, has actively supported the Iranian and Russian regimes, two governments which, unlike Rees-Mogg, are directly responsible for murders and other violence against gay people. His willingness to appear on their propaganda channels (Russia Today / Press TV) and work for these regimes indicates he holds to the old-school socialist dogma that homosexuality weakens the revolution and distracts people from their social duty to reproduce.

Wouldn't want to be stuck in a lift with either of them.

Yes I'm fine. The thread is full of people criticizing JRM for stating his beliefs, whilst ignoring their dear leader's support of various groups that practice similar or far more extreme beliefs. Therefore it's perfectly valid to bring up Corbyn.

My views on JRM's views are that he's correct to state them publically so that everybody can make their mind up on him in full possession of the facts.

Unlike Corbyn, who keeps his own beliefs secret precisely so that people are not able to do that.

Try to keep up at the back.

i don't think anyone is stating he's not entitled to hold a belief. we're saying that it's a hurtful belief to a large percentage of the population unbecoming of a potential PM.

freedom of speech doesn't bar you from criticism.

Rather like Labour MPs had a shock when they got Corbyn because the membership and the voters wanted him and they didn't, Conservative HQ is now trying to come to terms with the same thing with their own supporters.

Corbyn reflects what 11.4 million Labour voters want, irrespective of what Labour MPs think they should want.

The Tories are now grappling with the same thing.

The Conservative party is capricious, opportunistic and elitist, but it isn't stupid and they know about branding. They would no more voluntarily put someone in charge who outwardly reflects their identity than a crèche would advertise using a logo of Hitler.

David Cameron was an ideal Tory PM. Spin doctored, on message, media prepped, with not one identifiable principle of his own and a complete obedience to the source of the Tories' money.

JRM, is the exact opposite because his, pretty unpleasant views, reflect what most Tory voters now seem to think, and what they want their party to be.

He isn't going to change his awful views on womens' rights to choose because Glaxo make morning after pills and they're complaining he's hurting their bottom line.

As a Labour supporter I would rather the Tories just advertise themselves for what they are and go into the next election on that standpoint.

A JRM run England would be it for me. Since Brexit we've been talking half seriously about moving to Scotland before independence, and that would pretty much make up our minds.

I would be sad to go, and sad at what England has turned into, but at least I would know that's really what the people around me wanted, and not that they were misled by spin.

How dare they do that in a thread about JRM *stamps foot*I think it's valid for people to discuss JRM in a thread about JRM. Corbyn isn't my dear leader, why am I still criticizing JRM?

Heh. You're obviously a big JRM fan. Do you agree with his views?

No real idea what you're on about but this is a forum & how forums work is you discuss what's relevant.

My own views are not the issue and it's weird that you keep asking for them. I couldn't care less what yours are.

If I run for PM I'll let you know them.

Is it weird? You let us know your views on Corbyn (constantly) but not JRM, I think that's weird.

I already gave you my view on JRM, I said he was correct to make his views on these issues public so that people may judge him in full possession of the facts. Unlike Corbyn who insists on keeping his own views private.

Again, try to keep up at the back.

I'm asking because I think it's staggering that you don't have it in you to criticize someone for being anti abortion or anti same sex marriage purely because the person being discussed is a member of the Conservative party.

You're spectacularly pleased to be discussing Corbyn's views and criticizing them.

There's a word for this, what is it again?

Politics does really weird things to people's heads.

Quote an example of me criticizing any politician, of any party, for their religious beliefs.

Then when you can't, you can come back & apologize. If you're a big enough person.
