Just as the title suggests really, starting over after the ugliest of years ever. Family illness, my own illness and now losing my job means it's time to start over.
Need to do my SoA so that's the plan over the next few days and then tackle everything head on, interest only mortgage, negative equity, credit card, bank loan, Tesco loan and get a new job/career. It ain't gonna be pretty but we will get there. Wish us luck

Work tired is a good feeling tbh, anxiety/stress/depression tired isn't. This I much prefer

Minimal spend day, just some yellow sticker items from supermarket including 3 pizzas for 25p each, sleepover next weekend so that should help feed them all

Nothing exciting to add today, church outreach, went for a walk/run, got stuff ready for tomorrow, applied for a job, had a NSD. Exciting is over rated

Much busier week, 4 days out of 5 booked up on supply, the fifth is a family one taking m-i-l to hospital for three different appointments, that's probably the hardest day of the week tbh. Two meetings for the side hustle job to do as well so won't have time to spend any money either.

That's brilliant that you're getting so much supply work. Thank goodness for winter bugs in your case .

Got paid from side hustle job £238 and got supply pay but the taxman messed up my code so I've paid him nearly 50%. Got straight on the phone to get it sorted and should get it back in next wages (weekly so that's handy) and some in a refund. Only took about 40 minutes to get it sorted!!! Bonus if working is no time to spend and then too tired to shop after work. Fully booked for all next week too so I can organise meals, childcare and finances really carefully.

Annoying about the 50% tax but great that you're fully booked for next week

Cheap day, £1.50 whole chicken from local shop to be cooked & used in recipes/lunch boxes this week, cheaper than getting slices for butties. Got a fair bit of eating up to do and corned beef hash to make. Menu planning in earnest tonight then a baking day tomorrow.
