Just as the title suggests really, starting over after the ugliest of years ever. Family illness, my own illness and now losing my job means it's time to start over.
Need to do my SoA so that's the plan over the next few days and then tackle everything head on, interest only mortgage, negative equity, credit card, bank loan, Tesco loan and get a new job/career. It ain't gonna be pretty but we will get there. Wish us luck

Eating the bargain chicken for tea tonight, then using leftovers in lunches and going to attempt chicken broth, tried it once and it turned out a bit odd! Busy day at work and got an email confirming I am getting paid a morning's supply as a school I was booked in to work at on Friday cancelled but forgot to tell anyone so I rocked up ready to teach for nothing. Luckily managed to get TA supply elsewhere the same day so double pay effectively for the morning!

Busy work day followed by an extra meeting for the side hustle job so another few pounds in the bank for that one. Unexpected so a nice bonus, am going to be mega tired by Friday though! Still got a little bit of money left to top up my petrol tomorrow morning and hubby gets paid tomorrow too.

And the payslip for the lost work last week also has a 21 refund from the taxman, glad I made the call so quickly!

Definitely right there redofromstart no time to spend, no time to faff around, no time to fret.

Booked in working full time for the next three weeks so very happy with that. Tax still not sorted from one agency so got to try and get that sorted tomorrow as HMRC have sent me my new tax code so that should be some more money coming back to me. Not spending much as I'm working and tired, but got a few things that need fixing. Oven door has come out and slipped down so that's a priority and car MOT is also due and I know it will need new brake pad and one new tyre as they were on warning at last service. F-I-l has just given us some money towards getting that all done so that's a great help. Half term week is now a working week for me in a different local authority so not going to be spending anything much in the way of days out. Hubby is off so he can look after the kids for a nice change!

Definitely lots of NSDs, packed lunches too so weight is creeping down slowly as well. Tired though adjusting to a working life again isn't easy

Woohoo finally got the tax sorted so the pay for last week is a lot more than usual. Got about 6 side hustle meetings to attend too so that should bring in some more cash along the way. Still haven't been paid any mileage so that should also be in February pay packet. Am going to sit down with all the payslips at the weekend and work out how much I'm bringing in and where to start debtbusting if at all possible.

Lovely trip out yesterday to see a show (pressie from in-laws) followed by tea out, then out again with my parents for another meal. Rest of day is a house blitz and getting ready for the week ahead. Need a food shop but going to leave that to hubby cos he's off tomorrow, we've got enough in for today and lunches tomorrow so just milk needed to see us through

Supply work - nil, spends - nil, amount of catching up on stuff - loads. Great to have an unexpected quiet day to get things done around the place. Still no further forward in sorting the debts out but a lot of paperwork to sort out still.
