    Hello,

I used to post here loads and loads, I have been debt free since 2011 but I am due dental work (yes finally!) and need glasses and work done on the car, the house and the garden so am going to do a 0% balance transfer if I can time everything right and then work very hard on paying it off.

I do have some savings but they are staying as an emergency fund, I like the security they give me. Plus they may well not be enough. In the back of my mind I think I am due a tax rebate as well, not had time to investigate yet.

Some things have changed and some things stay the same. As a family we are having a very hard time and that is partly why I am back, I need a reminder not spend all the time and to try to find the cheapest ways to do things. Especially eating.

Lately I have been buying things from Amazon like it doesn't cost me a thing and do not even get me started on the contactless payment option.....it is really bad!!

I get paid tomorrow so a little sort out of the budgets and then an investigation of 0% BT offers.

    Love

    Buffy

came back from lift for sister, bit depressed. All so sad.

Checked banks, forgot Mum was paying for half the concrete(!) so have 250 pounds to last me. Other wise it would have been 50 quid.

    BUT

Have run up a 347 pound credit card bill from the summer - paid off 800 last month! WHAT THE HOLY !!!! AM I SPENDING ON THERE???

Will have to have an investigation....

Or you lot will have to make an intervention.

Dog wants a cuddle! Catch you all tomorrow XXX

Take the credit card details off of Amazon and pop the card in the freezer in a pot of water!!! You need to stop using it full stop.

(I typed that in my Mum voice, so you'd best listen....or else)

Keep a note of what you spend. If you don't it's easy to lose track and then wonder where it came from. It's happened to me - you think what, how - then go through the bill and think oh yeah I remember that. I try to clear my card every Sunday to keep on track - I've got an app which makes it easier.

I shall look at the CC statement......I hate being without a credit card
but equally I am relying on it a bit too much.
I am contemplating booking some nights up North in Half term. To look for a house.

Or at least check out the lay of the land. Currently am watching Blade Runner 2049, not as good as the first one but good. Clever.

    However I need a wee!!

But the film is almost finished. *whimpers*

I should be outside making the aviary.

However I made mum and I a big breakfast.......croissant, scrambled eggs and mushrooms.

    Yum.

I will shift once I feel less stuffed.

    Breakfast sounds lovely.

Whenever I look at my card it is Amazon . A lot better than it used to be, for which I thank you and your challenge ages ago.

    Toothache

Immense pain - have taken pain killers today but they have worn off. I have taken more but the pain is worse atm.

I really need to look at my bank and plan a couple of lessons. "somehow" I have lost a lesson I wrote yesterday - am seriously upset about that!

    be back later XX

    Back from dentist.

Was ok. but need to have a milk tooth removed and a filling redone - about 300 pounds.

And an eventual implant... for between 1500 - 2200 pounds.

Work are being slow about the tax rebate which is annoying.

I am trying to work out how to pay it all with out using the tax rebate.

Which actually might be what happens since it isn't showing up!!

I think it will be a credit card job. too sleepy now.

oo forgot to tell you next door but one got broken into and the thieving gits went through our garden! Worried mum a bit.

didn't thrill me either to be honest especially since I am moving the rabbits out this weekend....
