Sold prices Isle of Man not on Zoopla 16th Jul 17 at 6:16 PM
    HI,
As the title states - why are the sold prices and house history not available on Zoopla or similar for the Isle of Man?
Perhaps a Manx browser on this site could help.

I am keeping an eye on the Isle of Man market and 'hope' to retire there in the next 3 - 5 years. Some property has been on the market for over 5 years, but I have been unable to find sold prices for similar properties in same area.

    many thanks in advance.

Because the information on Zoopla is "supplied to us via monthly updates from the Land Registry for England and Wales and from the Registers of Scotland for Scotland". And the Isle of Man isn't in England, Wales or Scotland (though I'm hoping you already know that if you're thinking of moving there!).

You can obtain copies of the title documents for individual registered properties from the IoM Land Registry. These should show the price paid.

They cost more than double the price of similar documents from the E&W Land Registry though!

    Thanks for the replies.
The IOM publish all house sales, including price, who bought it and who the vendors were monthly on line - just took a bit of finding and then a bit of detection working out the difference between asking price and actual price obtained.
I am aware that the IOM is not in England, Wales or Scotland.
