Labour cost for wooden floor 15th Jul 17 at 6:49 AM
I am planning to lay engineered wood floor in a room (24 sqaure metre). I have been quoted 375 for labour...Is that a fair charge? I am in the midlands

We've just had 33 square metres fitted - fiddly hall way, not so fiddly lounge and dining room.

It took 1 chap 3 full days days ( 8 to 6) and he charged us 900 - but that included new skirting boards throughout and all the nails etc.

We could have got someone cheaper, but he came highly recommended - and he's done a superb job.

Sorry, but we're not in the midlands.
