Garmin information change 9th Jul 17 at 11:05 AM
    Hi

    I have a Garmin Forerunner 25.
I'd like to be able to track walking the same way I do running so I get a route and times etc as opposed to step counting. On Garmin Connect it always uses a title - This Town Running and all I'd like to do is switch that to This Town Walking, I know it can be edited but is there a way to change the activity from running to walking?

    I hope that makes sense

On my Garmin I just select walk / hike rather than run and it labels it as such. I presume that will be the same on other ones.

Thanks for that - I'm guessing mine doesn't then, as I can't find it anywhere.

Mine is a multi activity watch.
However you can change the activity type in garmin connect after it syncs.
