Up to you of course, but I would just leave it, it is green, hard wearing and the bees love it

However any lawn weedkiller will do the job, you may need further applications

Have read of this thread from 2004

PS, got kids around? Have a "find a four leaf clover" hunt for free kid's amusement

It'll die down soon enough. Or just pull it up - it's not difficult to do.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

I'm trying to encourage clover to grow in my garden for the kids/bees.

But as above, it's easily eradicated with lawn selective weed killer

Clover ruins the look of lawns In my opinion. There's plenty of plants for bees in the borders where they are not in danger of being stepped on or disappearing into the back of a lawn mower grass box.
Weedol lawn weed killer will do the job but it will take a couple of seasons.

Treating the lawn to remove the clover will only temporarily work. Two common causes are cutting the lawn too short, and not feeding the lawn. Too much shade and poor drainage also affect it.

By all means treat the lawn for a quick fix but, unless you treat the cause, it will return.

We used to use Verdone Extra but I think it's been taken off the market.

Bought some stuff in Asda a few weeks ago, Vitax Lawn Clear, not quite as good as Verdone but it's got rid of most of the weeds.
