Haven't even got out of bed yet and I'm irritated.
-The badly behaved cat peed in the laundry basket so all my summer clothes have had to go back in the wash and I'll have to wear jeans today.
-I've pulled a muscle in my leg and have to drag it behind me, quasimodo style
-OH ate all the bread so I can't have toast for breakfast

Two things in Croatia that have irritated me.

    1. Split coach station has 7 or 8 drop off parking bays. It causes problems
    2. Been to three supermarkets and the only diet drink they sell is Coke. Some restaurants/cafes don't sell it either. More excuse to drink beer

Having had an engineer out for 5 hours in the summer, who replaced our internet cabling up the pole, underground and in the street cabinet, our internet has collapsed again to around 2Mb. When the engineer left us, he said we had about 20Mb. I'm firmly of the opinion that if I'm not getting what I pay for, I shouldn't have to pay for it. BT disagree however. Meanwhile I'm sat with a PC and - unusually - mobile devices buffering like mad and am quite ready to smash the lot. Add in the Microsoft Outlook Europe-wide fault and oh happy day.

Border controls of Croatia/Bosnia-H entering and leaving as there is a 8-10km stretch of BH to go through to Dubrovnik about 40-50km from Dubrovnik airport. Didn't stop when I first got to Croatia as stayed 40km from Split.

Must have spent 3.5-4 hours overall today at checks. On a coach with 45 others

    Today's 'Dontone's irritations'

The supermarket down the road from me (not going to mention the name, but it begins with 'A' and ends in 'A') has undergone a refurbishment, moving things around and all the dazed and confused trolley zombies were really confused and some were just pottering round getting in the way trying to find cornflakes.
I found the special pop aisle okay though.
The thing is, is that some of the aisles are now narrower and darker and it isn't finished, so half of the freezers are empty. It just seems like it is a classic example of 'if it ain't broke........'
Also the selfish twonk who had parked his car half on the pavement, and then decided to open his car door and !!!!! about leaning across the front seats with his feet sticking out so I had to walk onto a busy road to get around it. You just want the exhaust to fall off just so idiots like that are inconvenienced too.
Think that will do for now.
    Carry on

No, wait..... Add to my list of today's grumbles, that He-man/Dirty Dancing advert. It's horrible. That is all

    Japanese tourists.

Why don't they just follow the rules? I remember in Assisi, they were shouting in churches you should be silent on visiting. Then in the Sistine chapel, no photos are allowed yet they took them.

Then they take photos of stupid things. Pile of pigeon poo, dead pigeons, a drain etc

Some are a bit pig ignorant, and I've had a least 2 run ins with them. One was in the Rio Hotel in Vegas. They used to have a Carnival show where the floats were on tracks on the ceiling and they throw bead necklaces down if you wave at them. One lady decided that she didn't want me to have any, so from about 15 feet away, she started walking backwards, looking at me and moving her arms up and down like she was waving but her elbows were out (IYSWIM) When she got to me, they were level with me for bead throwing and she went to belt me with her elbow.
I dodged it and pushed her out of the way with my arm (I wasn't going to move) Luckily she made it so obvious, 'cos if I hadn't have realised what she was doing and was watching she could have hurt me. All over a $1 bead necklace - That I caught.
Another time was at Buckingham Palace and we went to see if Liz had washed her net curtains that year. One tourist thought it was fun to stand next to us, start spinning round and nearly belted us with a selfie stick. Luckily for her, the phone stayed on it.
Some of them are nice, but a few have no manners. I suppose it could be said of people of all nations, including us.
I've seen them take photos of ice cream vans and signs on iron railings as well. Don't they have them over there?

The fact that a colleague's phoned in sick for the 378th day this year so I've now got to cover the phones and deal with idiots who get sh1tty with me when I won't put their sales and marketing calls through to our CEO.
