What's irritating you VI 23rd Jun 17 at 7:20 AM
Haven't even got out of bed yet and I'm irritated.
-The badly behaved cat peed in the laundry basket so all my summer clothes have had to go back in the wash and I'll have to wear jeans today.
-I've pulled a muscle in my leg and have to drag it behind me, quasimodo style
-OH ate all the bread so I can't have toast for breakfast

    Okay, I've got an irritation.

I was speaking to my mum on Sunday (no, that's not the irritation) and she told me that Boots Opticians had sent a letter to me at her house (she lives in Scotland, and I haven't for about 18 years now).

The irritation is more that this is now at least the 3rd time that Boots have done this and every time I speak to them about it, they say that they'll fix it but it keeps. on. happening.

I'm going to have another drink (of milk).

The result is all those aforementioned threads are now stretched

When you go to the trouble to respond to an OP's request for advice, taking time to write your thoughts about the problem concisely, non-judgmentally, and hopefully helpfully, then editing to rephrase the odd thing so that it is worded more clearly and sounds better ... and the OP doesn't acknowledge your efforts in any way.

Gosh, hope you're okay. Oil burns are pretty painful - did you run it under cold water? If it's really bad, it would be worth getting it looked at due to the risk of infection.

I'm irritated because there is still a bit of a hole in my gum where I had a back tooth out. I have been able to feel something with my tongue, something stuck in the hole. Was driving me mad this morning so armed with a torch, magnifying mirror and a pair of tweezers I dug it out. Turned out to be a bit of root that snapped off when the dentist did the extraction

OUCH on the broken root, I had one of them many years ago and it took the dentist 4 attempts to dig it out, in the end he had to slice open the gum and get it from a different angle
