Haven't even got out of bed yet and I'm irritated.
-The badly behaved cat peed in the laundry basket so all my summer clothes have had to go back in the wash and I'll have to wear jeans today.
-I've pulled a muscle in my leg and have to drag it behind me, quasimodo style
-OH ate all the bread so I can't have toast for breakfast

Some of the comments in Discussion Time ...
Still, everybody is welcome to state their opinion - I guess that's the purpose. But some opinions do seem to be somewhat missguided. But hey, that's just my opinion!

DId I just say 'but' too much? Now I'm really irritated with myself!

    Windows 10 updates. . .
Been having trouble for weeks with update that wouldn't. Always recovered OK in the past.
    Yesterday it didn't.
Backup for whole system from well respected, paid for, backup program wouldn't restore backup from bootable media.
"No disc detected" or some such. Probably boot record corrupt. . .
At this stage the air was a bit blue.
Reinstalled Win 10. Reinstalling programs. Looks like I might be managing to get most of the essential files off the backup, but it's s---l---o--w.
I need a rethink about backup plan.
Luckily all work files, photos etc are on another drive to the OS.
Tell me again, why do we have computers. . ?

I'm still using Windows 7 and Norton Ghost 15 to Backup. Worked fine until a few months ago when incremental images of the whole drive started crashing out (daily backup of documents still ok). Can I find out why? The first full backup every month still works, so not too concerned - more annoyed ...

I missed a call from the police station earlier and I am now wondering if I should phone them or leave it until tomorrow and hope they phone me back.
I had gone out with the dog leaving my phone on charge and just checked it now.

Whilst it hasn't been a bad day, exhausted was up 16 hours yesterday as in part I needed to have my hospital appointment, went to bed took me a hour of not sleeping to remove my breathing mask then at least another 30 to fall asleep, woke up in morning feeling drunk/lack of oxygen spaced all day but ok then friend messaged me to say the pc I sold him 6 weeks ago isn't working so he wants to return it, problem was I held it for him for 4 months and now its devalued and to be fair he did tell me every 2/3 days since he got it its been playing up (friend from like 70 miles away hence I can't go round and see what the fault was) so thats £400 I am now down, I can sell the parts but will get half that.

Then as its the day before kids go back to school the people upstairs have had guests round, tolerable noise apart from a hour before I went out the dog barked 30 minutes straight and started again recently! Oh and when I went out I missed bus by 1 minute, then next one had kids come on (again as last day before schools go back) one was short of money so shouted abuse at bus driver and refused to get off bus, his friends at back started blasting their phones out loud and being basically little brats like all thumping window when they went past someone they knew, then they got off bus and started thumping on shop windows!
