What's irritating you VI 23rd Jun 17 at 7:20 AM
Haven't even got out of bed yet and I'm irritated.
-The badly behaved cat peed in the laundry basket so all my summer clothes have had to go back in the wash and I'll have to wear jeans today.
-I've pulled a muscle in my leg and have to drag it behind me, quasimodo style
-OH ate all the bread so I can't have toast for breakfast

Only 10%? You should try being on a train, or better still watching a row of people sitting in a waiting room at a station. Makes me wonder whatever we did before we all had mobile phones. Talk to eachother maybe?

I'm irritated by my lack of motivation. I know there are things which I should be doing and would make me happier but I don't seem to be able to do them.

Lying on my bed wearing just my underwear and the windows wide open. The TRV has stopped working on the radiator and its belting out the heat.

It will get fixed one of the days...

This morning I was putting Bailie's head collar on her when I noticed a link was missing from it. Cue frantic searching for a substitute. I did find something (after 10 minutes of looking) and as I was fixing it on I realised I don't actually need it

Just now I was going upstairs when I spotted a dog biscuit (kibble size) on one of the stairs. I picked it up at chucked it to Bails who, because she's useless, didn't catch it. So then she's manically searching for it, digging at the carpet and poking her nose under the sofa. Nope, she couldn't find it. So I got me trusty torch and had a look myself and....I can't find it either

I mean, there's only so many places it could go, and if champion sniffer dog can't find it then I'm beginning to think I may have a family of Borrowers living here

Or perhaps you thought you threw it, but it actually just fell back onto the stairs?

We both looked behind and under all the furniture, it's gone.

Maybe she inhaled it and didn't realise

I put my full set of waterproofs on for the 10am walk and the rain stopped about 2 minutes into it and never came on again, I am now left wondering whether to put my trousers back on or just keep the waterproof on until the next walk.

    Extremely irritated with Bailie

Usually on this last walk she trots along carrying a stick she has selected from the vast array available round the lake, occasionally stopping to go to the loo or very occasionally to sniff something.

But tonight, because it's chucking it down and I was melting in me wet gear (which leaked ) she wasn't satisfied with any of the prize specimens of sticks or branches currently on offer. Oh no, tonight she decided instead to stop and sniff every bush, every tree, every blade of ruddy grass

And the most annoying thing, I couldn't pull her along coz that rubbish rat on a rope lead has a 20kg weight limit which she exceeds
