New Fan.... 18th Jun 17 at 6:46 PM
It is hotting up and today I discovered my electric fan is knackered.
Basically plasic casing fell to bits. Was only a cheap one of about 15 years ago.

So looking for a new fan.

I am just wondering if anyone here has one of the very not MSE (pricey) Dyson fans. No blades. One of them can even be used as a fan heater in the colder weather. The AM09 hot and cool fan.

They look very smart, are remote controlled too!

Not sure of to be very unMSE and treat myself to one of these as it will be useful for the summer and winter AND of course looks stylish!

So does anyone here have one or are they so very unMSE?

I don't, - our old Honeywell is still holding up well and only gets used on a few days of the year.

Amazon has some reviews and Q&A feedback for the fan you are after

OH was thinking about one of these for his studio because they're so quiet, but there's no way we could justify the price! He did some research and went for this one, and it's really good - surprisingly quiet and it seems quite efficient. It has a remote too.

We got given one a few weeks ago, worth its weight this weekend.
