Ukcps pcn 15th Jun 17 at 2:23 PM
I have received a PCN from a UKCPS Car Park on the 9th June 2017 for 100 for parking in a Disabled bay without a valid Disabled badge.

Please note one of the passengers is a blue badge holder and is severely partially sighted. Blue badges were displayed correctly and it is only on receipt of the PCN that we discovered the badge has recently ran out of date.

Am I able to appeal this PCN. I have read the Newbies thread but with this being a disabled bay I wanted to check?

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Thank you!

UKCPS 'specialise' in disabled bay parking. What the numpties fail to recognise is that the expiry date on the BB doesn't mean the disability expires with it.

As they are IPC operators, use the IPC template initial appeal from post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky. It will be rejected (99% of them are), then thereafter ignore anything else that comes your way, other than real court papers - come back and we'll help with a defence, if needed then.

All explained in the sticky - its detailed and will need a concerted and thorough reading. Don't skim read and then come back to tell us you're confused/don't understand it. Bite size chunks; you can't eat an elephant in one mouthful.
We cannot provide you with a silver bullet to get you out of this. You have to be in for the long run, and need to involve yourself in research and work for you to get rid of this. It is not simple. We will help, but can't do it for you.

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Try a very assertive complaint to the retailer/landowner tomorrow alleging discrimination and breach of the Equality Act 2010. They have a short window to cancel any PCN from UKCPS, I believe. That's the easiest thing but act VERY quickly.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
