How to appeal parking fine from Smart Parking Ltd 12th Jun 17 at 4:30 PM
Hi to all members, please help me if you can:

I received a PCN from Smart Parking Ltd after the driver exceeded the time limit by a few minutes. They have two photographs of the car with the time stamps on, entry and departure I think (not sure if they are even genuine times). The PCN was issued in the Birmingham area. The fine is for 60 if paid within 14 days, and then 100 after that, with the threat of civil legal action.

Can someone kindly help me identify a template for my particular case, and give me an understanding of what I need to do to cancel this fine.

Thank you in advance for any assistance with this.

As you are using inaccurate and inapplicable words like "fine" and making the basic mistake of thinking your "case" actually counts for anything with a PPC. Please start by reading the Newbies Sticky at the top of this forum carefully - it will inform you properly with the most up to date information and lay-out your options for seeing this-off.

Edit your post to remove information about who did what. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper. Parking scammers read this forum.

Next, read the NEWBIES thread as already advised then copy and paste and send the BPA template in blue from the NEWBIES exactly as it is, from the keeper.

Do not reveal the driver's identity to anyone at any point in the proceedings.

If/when the first appeal is rejected, make a second stage appeal to PoPLA using all the relevant appeal points available from the NEWBIES thread.

The NEWBIES is your one stop shop for all of this.

Thanks guys, will take a look in the Newbies section.

I'll be in touch, hopefully with good news.

    Same as i said here:

Easy for a registered keeper to win.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
