Financial connection 10th Jun 17 at 3:30 PM
Hello guys, we tried for a mortgage couple months ago but needed more deposit then we thought so will be trying again in a month or two when I have enough deposit

Tried for a joint mortgage first but we needed a higher deposit as she had some late payments she didnt tell me about so tried it under just mine name and got a lower rate

I checked my report today as I will be trying for mortgage again in couple of months but realised I am now financially connected to my partner so I now wonder if this will affect the application or shouldn't it matter as the mortgage will be just in my name

She's now paid off the debt which was only about 200 but obviously still on her file for late payments

If you're financially associated, it could impact your application.
