    Hi

    I've got 13 year old Smeg washing machine. Tonight I've noticed a slight leak from the casing in the area just below the drum. The leak is not coming from the tube you use to drain it, or the filter.

    I know this is a bit of a vague description, but has anyone seen this type of leak before and is it repairable?

    I'm guessing the washing machine is finished due to it's age.

    There's an assortment of small rubber hoses that my have perished and started leaking or the main water feed hose has shaken loose and is weeping . Needs pulling out and seeing if you can spot any obvious damp areas

    Thanks Browntoa, it is in the actual main casing itself. Will have a look tomorrow, as I'm using the machine just now.

    Waters weeping from somewhere and then running down the casing

    Also look at door seal area

    Your should be able to see the trail the water takes if it's been doing it for a while
