Gemini Parking Solutions ticket at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 16th Mar 17 at 9:29 PM
On a grey, rainy and dingy Saturday evening I parked in the Olympic Village. I was in a back street, the place was deserted, there were no yellow lines and I was more worried about the car being broken into, it was so quiet. But when I returned an hour and a half later the bright yellow "PCN" on my windscreen told a different story.

Luckily it was from Gemini Parking Solutions Ltd, a Loughton based company who seemed to be totally inept. They appear so ill informed one cannot help but wonder if their non compliance with POFA 2012 can possibly be ignorance or is it in fact deliberate.

I digress.... Back to the ticket which had appeared on my windscreen.

I was interested to see that the ticket stated "It is an offence for an unauthorised person to remove or interfere with this notice". What defines an authorised or unauthorised person and what offence if being committed if a passer by takes the ticket and uses it to wipe their.... windscreen. Any ideas?

I did nothing. I know, I should have appealed at day 26 but, given the content of the ticket, I was interested to see the NTK. And the signage was so poor there - tiny, unlit, over 2m up a lamp post I figured they were on dodgy ground regardless. (I also wonder who maintains the road there - it looks like the Local Authority do which may make a difference). When I returned to the car I had to search for the nearest one, stretch up to take a picture and zoom in on the phone so I could read all of it it.

The NTK has arrived and, in my mind it doesn't meet POFA 2012 requirements and the signage definitely doesn't meet BPA guidelines. I will attached it along with my reply - will update the thread with any response but all comments/advice very welcome. However, I feel that any ticket in the Olympic Park issued by Gemini is not valid; in my mind its verging on fraud by false representation or by making untrue and misleading statements. However, I am most definitely not a lawyer and I am sure far better legal minds than mine are better placed to give an opinion

You can't upload on a forum.

Host pics on photobucket or Dropbox then post the broken URL link here (change http to hxxp to get past the forum block on links for newbies).
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
